Who Are We?

The Wooden Floor Company was born in 1997. The company has 3 sites, 1 in Glasgow and 2 in Northern Ireland, in Scotland we are called the Wooden Floor Store, opening here in 2000.

We specialise in solid and engineered hardwood flooring although we also offer a range of high quality laminate and ceramic tiles.

The Wooden Floor Store are experienced in working with architects, designers, developers, flooring companies (many of who within Scotland's central belt and beyond as well as in N.Ireland are customers) and the public. Every wooden floor product we supply is sourced directly from source and we have a large number of uncommon exotic timbers which are exclusively distributed. As well as exotics we also stock many hard to get sought after wooden floors, including walnut, oak, maple, birch, ash, red oak, kempas, jatoba and cherry, in a range of lacqered and oiled finishes.

The company work closely with the manufacturers we purchase from and in all cases visit the source of origin regularly ensuring high quality and that the product is sustainably soured. We have even developed our own lines and own the following brands; Causeway Flooring, Saphire Flooring, Green Mountain Flooring, Viking Flooring, Harland Flooring and Evolution Flooring. We also try to have all products in stock all of the time.

The directors of the company have a shared experience within the flooring industry spanning decades, with their knowledge and expertise passed down to each and every member of our team.

• Same day delivery - As all of our products are stock items we can supply flooring requirements without the lead time, therefore in theory we can sell flooring in the morning and deliver it that same afternoon. Or if you are collecting from our warehouse our experienced staff will load your vehicle on your behalf.

• We keep the costs down - By importing our products directly, we can purposely source and manufacture our products to the quality which best meets the requirements of all our customers.

• Choice - By sourcing directly from a range of factories means we are not limited to a specific range. We can offer a massive gallery to choose from and you are free to take home as many samples prior to purchase as you wish!

• Showrooms - Our showrooms are specifically designed to showcase all of our products. This allows customers to have a great idea of how the floors will appear and therefore help to envisage the end product in their home.

• Floor fitters - Once you have chosen your specific flooring we will provide you with a list of known installers.
