Laminate Flooring

We at The Wooden Floor Store pride ourselves in providing a wide range of laminate flooring with thicknesses of 6-15mm. Our vast array of flooring caters to everyone’s needs, be it in a domestic or commercial setting. All the laminates we offer are assembled with ease thanks to our innovative click system and provide customer reassurance with long lasting warranties, some for as long as 25 years.

Laminate flooring has evolved far beyond its humble beginnings, with manufacturers now carefully considering the colouring and style of products to the extent that it is becoming ever increasingly difficult to tell laminate from real wood!

What is Laminate Flooring?

The majority of laminate floors are made of high density fibreboard or HDF backing which forms the greater part of the board and has a variety of appearances and textures on top. The click lock system allows for the installation of floors without the need for glue or nails. Atop these boards goes a photographic film of real wood, providing the impression that it is a real wooden floor. Lastly the boards are reinforced with a hardened laminate coating, making the boards durable and resistant to marks and scratches.

Why Laminate flooring is a good choice for you.

Practicality is the essence of laminate flooring. The buyer is gifted beautiful, durable boards at affordable prices. While it is lighter than solid wood floors, laminates are far denser, protecting it more effectively from household and commercial wear and tear by such things as chairs or stilettos. The hardwearing laminate coat makes for a more durable finish, protecting it from scuffs and scrapes, ideal for those worried about potential damage from pets or young children. The ever evolving world of laminate flooring means there has never been such a vast array of affordable and realistic looking floors on offer than there is now.
